Some of you know me as GG aka Gayathri Ganesan and some pet names (which I am not writing here :))
I was born in a small town near Mayuladuthurai, Tamilnadu, India. Most of my childhood was spent in Chennai while we were also moving from one place to another. After few years, we returned to Chennai where most important things in my life happened.
I am interested in Carnatic music (system of South Indian music) and have been learning it from the age of 8 years. Indian classical music has two genres – Hindustani and Carnatic.
Later I have developed interest in Bhajans. Bhajans are free form of music mostly associated with a spiritual theme. Ideas from scriptures, teachings by famous saints and loving devotion to a deity are most famous subjects in bhajans.
Apart from singing, I like travelling , cooking and binge watching.
I am working and living in Paris and this is a small attempt to get better at my singing.
